This Module is designed to work seamlessly with the AP360e and AP362e Label Applicators, new and old units. It is compact, easy to use, and affordable. No extra power supply needed as it connects directly to the label applicator. It includes a full-colour touchscreen to setup and edit the data such as dates and lot codes. It can print letters, numbers and many symbols. Formats can be stored for later use, speeding up production. It uses a single black ink cartridge that is long lasting, immediately dry, waterproof, scratch- and UV light resistant.

We are happy to inform you that the new LX3000e Color Label Printer from Primera Technology, Inc. is going to be officially announced today in the EMEA region.

It is a new milestone in the Primera Technology LX printer line because it is the first in its class with a CISS (Continuous Ink Supply System).
The printer uses the same platform as the LX910e, but with the addition of large, separate ink tanks for cyan, magenta and yellow (with 60 ml each) and a pre-primed, user-replaceable printhead (with 42 ml ink).
The ink system is being called ‘Big Ink’ to differentiate it from other Primera models and has a total of 222 ml ‘out of the box’ ink.
The LX3000e is available in two versions: with dye-based or pigmented inks.

We see the following benefits for the LX3000e in comparison with other printers:
1.) User replaceable printhead around 75 EUR vs. fixed printhead in other printers which means a total loss after warranty.
2.) Significantly less ink consumption, as we do not need to clean so much in large waste tanks which cost extra to protect a non-replaceable printhead.
3.) Footprint and weight is considerably higher on other printers, our unit is half the size, half the weight, more user-friendly and only using a quarter of energy.
4.) Border-less or edge to edge printing is supported.
5.) No carbon black but a high density CMY dye black, which gives smear-less and water-resistant results on glossy media which is not possible with pigment based black other printers are using. High Gloss seems a general issue with them.

7.) Faster start-up after pause. Printers with fixed printheads often need 1-2 minutes to clean the printhead before starting to print. The LX3000e usually prints immediately.
8.) Last but not least we have a much higher tolerance with media thickness and stiffness so more variety in substrates is available.
